Based in Scotland, Pursuit of the extraordinary - Pote has embarked on a journey to push themselves to achieve more, to explore more and understand how music can play a role in that. Looking to perfect her technical abilities and develop her own unique style, Pursuit of the extraordinary draws upon her understanding of the importance of storytelling. Of how narrative flows through the everyday of everyone and forms a vast interweaving story, with infinite potential individual stories there is so much to explore. Pote wants to delve into this and draw from it in order to navigate narrative and the sounds within these contextual stories to make music that tells these stories. With a lifelong passion for music and a hunger for more you can join Pote on this pursuit for the extraordinary. Having delved into the world of academia, Pote has discovered more than she bargained for in her creative pursuits through a MA in music and will be continuing research through a PhD from October 2022. Alongside this Pote has worked on collaborative projects with artists, videographers and tv producers.
